EDISON - Storms that rolled through the area Wednesday aren't expected to bring much relief from the heat and humidity.
News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Dave Curren says scattered overnight storms will give way to sunshine and a high around 82 degrees on Thursday.
Friday is expected to be mostly cloudy, with a few light showers or sprinkles. Highs will be in the low 80s.
For those hoping to beat the heat with a swim at the Jersey Shore, there's a moderate threat for rip currents.
