EDISON - High winds, cold temperatures and scattered snow reached New Jersey Tuesday evening.

The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory for the majority of the state through Wednesday.

News 12 New Jersey meteorologists say that although the snow should be light, the strong winds may reduce visibility on the roads. The northwest counties of New Jersey could see up to an inch of snow.

Wednesday is expected to stay windy with a mixture of sun and clouds. Temperatures should only reach 32 degrees.

Thursday should stay mostly cloudy, but temperatures may warm slightly into the mid-30s.
