EDISON - Strong thunderstorms moved across the state Friday, bringing some flooding and power outages.

News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Michele Powers says that the storms have mostly cleared out for the day, but temperatures are expected to drop.

Temperatures for Friday topped out in the 70s, but are expected to cool into the 50s and even high-40s by the overnight hours.

Saturday should see mostly sunny skies with cooler temperatures.
