EDISON - A storm packing heavy rains and high winds threatens to hamper travel throughout New Jersey for the start of the Thanksgiving holiday.
News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Dave Curren says the storm will worsen through the overnight hours into Wednesday.
Curren says the storm system has the potential to bring 2 to 3 inches of rain. There's also a chance for minor tidal flooding along the coast.
Windy conditions are expected tomorrow night and Thanksgiving with the possibility of wind gusts exceeding 50 mph.
Temperatures will be warmer tomorrow. The cold air returns on Thanksgiving with highs of only 36 degrees.
