EDISON - The threat of snow along southern New Jersey's coast has lessened, but there’s still the possibility for some wintry weather tonight.

News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Dave Curren says a winter storm watch for Ocean and southeast Burlington counties has been canceled.

A winter weather advisory is in effect until 4 a.m. Friday for Cumberland, Atlantic and Cape May counties.

Curren says today's wintry mix with is likely to change over to snow in the evening. It should taper off after midnight with accumulations of about 2 inches in spots.
