EDISON - Bitter cold temperatures are expected to turn minor accumulations across the Garden State into a slick roadways.

News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Dave Curren says temperatures will drop to the teens tonight, freezing over earlier snowfall.

Temperatures are expected to rise above freezing by Tuesday.

Forecasters note that tonight's snow appears glittery due to the snowflakes freezing at a flatter angle and then taking on the reflection of the full moon.
