EDISON - Wet weather will continue in the Garden State ahead of a much nicer weekend.
News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Dave Curren says scattered showers will continue into Wednesday with lows in the 40s.
Heavier rain and gusty winds are possible Wednesday and a flood watch and coastal flood advisory has been issued for much of the state.
Curren says both the morning and afternoon commute will be affected by the heavy rain.
Skies should begin to clear Thursday afternoon, and the sun is expected to be back on Friday.
