EDISON - Rain is making its way across the Garden State.

News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Dave Curren says the rain could become heavy in some parts of the state overnight, and lows will be in the mid-40s.

Curren says rain and clouds should move out by midday Tuesday and highs will reach the mid-60s under sunny skies.

High temperatures will remain in the 60s through the end of the week.
