EDISON - The Garden State got a bit of a break from the high heat and humidity Thursday, but there is still a chance of passing showers.

News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Michele Powers says overnight lows will drop into the mid-60s.

Drier air moves in Friday, but there is still a chance of showers in the southern section of the state.

The sun returns on Saturday, but a widespread risk of showers or storms will return on Sunday.
