Weather: New Jersey hit with thunderstorms

Thunderstorms moving across New Jersey may cause flash flooding.

TRENTON - Thunderstorms moving across New Jersey may bring the threat of flash flooding.
    
News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Dave Curren says showers and thunderstorms are expected Monday evening as well as on Tuesday.
    
Curren says heavy rain may fall in a brief period. That could cause streams and creeks to rise quickly.

A flash flood watch has been issued for the northern and western parts of the state.
    
Overnight lows will be in the 70's. Tuesday will be in the 80's.
