EDISON - Warmer, spring like temperatures are on tap for this weekend, as the Garden State begins to close out the first day of spring.

News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Dave Curren says temperatures for Saturday should reach the mid to high 50s.

However a weather system over the mid-west could bring some scattered rain showers for Saturday, Curren says.

Cold weather is expected to make a return to kick off the work week on Monday.
