EDISON - There were clear skies and warm temperatures in New Jersey on Monday, but clouds may start to roll in by Tuesday.

News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Dave Curren says that temperatures for Monday were in the mid- to high-50s, which is above average for this time of year.

Curren says that a storm system south of New Jersey could bring some clouds and even light rain to the state Monday overnight into Tuesday.

Tuesday is expected to see a mix of sun and clouds. Temperatures cool a bit with high temperatures in the high-40s.

Wednesday is expected to be partly sunny with highs in the low-50s. Rain is possible for Thursday.
