EDISON - The work week will end on the cloudy side, but a great weekend is in store for the Garden State.

News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Dave Curren says overnight lows will drop to the mid-40s, and clouds and rain will move in Friday.

Scattered showers are possible with temperatures around 67 degrees.

Rain will become steadier Friday night as a cold front moves in.

Saturday and Sunday are looking up, featuring sunny skies and temperatures reaching for the upper 60s and lower 70s.
