EDISON - Flooding concerns are growing across the Garden State as rain continues to fall.
News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Dave Curren says heavy rain will persist tonight into Thursday.
Coastal flooding at the shore during times of high tide is a possibility, and flash flood watches are in place for northern and western parts of New Jersey.
Many streams and rivers are already spilling their banks throughout New Jersey.
Temperatures will rise overnight into the 60s.
Although the heaviest rains will pass by the morning, afternoon sunshine and rapid warming to the mid-70s will create isolated thunder storms across the state.
