TRENTON - Heat could get to dangerous levels in parts of New Jersey over the weekend.

News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Justin Godynick says temperatures are expected to be in the 90s, along with high humidity.

Godynick says there’s another chance for a possible thunderstorm in the afternoon in the northwest corner of the state. Tonight will be mild and muggy with a chance of patchy fog.

People in New Jersey should stay out of the sun, drink plenty of water and check up on neighbors, relatives and pets.
