Weather, construction cause delays, canceled flights at Newark Liberty International Airport
NEWARK - Weather and ongoing construction Tuesday caused hundreds of delayed or canceled flights at Newark Liberty International Airport.
The Port Authority said the issues were connected to two runways that were unable to be used.
One runway is closed through May because of construction and another is a "visual runway," which means it cannot be used in rainy, cloudy weather.
