EDISON - Cloudy skies and cooler temperatures are expected to develop Thursday night in New Jersey, after a day that saw mild temperatures and mostly sunny skies.

News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Dave Curren says that Thursday’s overnight hours should see temperatures cool into the low- to mid-20s. Skies should become partly cloudy.

Friday is expected to see temperatures in the mid-40s with partly cloudy skies. More clouds are expected to develop overnight.

Saturday should see mostly cloudy skies with temperatures warming into the upper-40s. Scattered rain sprinkles could develop in the evening.

Sunday is expected to see rain showers. Curren says that it will be a “wind-based” rain and should last most of the day. Temperatures are expected to warm into the mid-50s.
