EDISON - New Jersey continues to experience cold temperatures across the state, and things should get colder overnight.

News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Dave Curren says that Tuesday’s temperatures saw highs only in the low-30s. Temperatures across the state were mostly in the upper-20s by the afternoon.

Tuesday’s overnight hours should see clear skies with little to no wind. Temperatures are expected to get down into the teens and even single digits.

Wednesday should see mostly clear skies. Temperatures may warm up slightly and could reach highs of 40 degrees.

Temperatures are expected to warm throughout the weekend into the mid- to upper-40s, with mostly cloudy skies and rain.
