EDISON - Wednesday saw clear skies and mostly mild temperatures in the Garden State, but those clear skies won’t be around too much longer.

News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Dave Curren says that Wednesday’s overnight hours should remain mostly clear with temperatures dropping into the mid-20s.

Thursday should see slightly warmer temperatures in the mid-40s. Skies are expected to be mostly clear, with some clouds.

Friday is expected to be mostly cloudy with temperatures in the low-40s.

Rain is expected for the weekend. Saturday should see scattered rain in the later part of the day. Sunday should see rain all day, according to Curren. Temperatures for Sunday should reach 50 degrees.
