EDISON - New Jersey saw mostly clear skies but frigid temperatures Monday following a brush with some snow.

News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Dave Curren says that Monday’s overnight temperatures are expected to be quite cold. Icing may be a problem as melted snow re-freezes overnight.

Curren says that the weather over the next few days is expected to be mostly quiet, but meteorologists are tracking a storm system that could bring a significant snow storm to the area Friday into Saturday.

Curren says it’s still too early to tell exactly how this storm will impact New Jersey.

Tuesday could see a mix of sun and clouds. Temperatures are expected to reach the upper-20s, but wind chills may make it feel much colder.

Wednesday is expected to be partly sunny with temperatures slightly warmer in the mid-30s.
