EDISON - New Jersey is continuing to get an early taste of winter from a cold arctic air mass.

News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Dave Curren says colder air will win out overnight as lows dip down into the mid-20s. Winds will make it feel even colder.

It will be mostly sunny Thursday and slightly warmer, but still cool for this time of year. An afternoon high of 50 degrees is expected.

More seasonable temperatures are ahead on Friday with temperatures climbing to the low 60s this weekend. Much needed rain develops for early next week.
