EDISON - Frigid cold weather is on the way this week, but temperatures should start to warm up by Super Bowl weekend.
News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Dave Curren says Mondays warmer temperatures will give way to overnight lows ranging from 6 to 13 degrees, and 10 to 15 mph winds.
Wind chill advisories are in effect, making it feel like temperatures as low as 10 to 15 degrees below zero.
Curren says Tuesday will be partly sunny but still frigid, with temperatures reaching 19 to 22 degrees.
Temperatures are expected to reach 37 degrees for Super Bowl Sunday.
