WAYNE - The nine football players from Wayne Hills High School accused of assaulting two students from rival Wayne Valley High School at a party won't be allowed to play.

After allowing the students to suit up for last Friday's game, administrators have decided to not allow the accused students to suit up for this weekend's playoff game.

According to a news release from the Wayne School District, schools reopened Monday following a long weekend and the administration had the opportunity to review and assess the matter with the advantage of having more school based information.
