WAYNE - Residents in Wayne are on high alert following a rash of home burglaries.

Authorities have reported more than 20 break-ins in the last month.

Police say one of burglaries happened over the weekend on Dartmouth Road. The alleged thieves kicked in the front door and ransacked the bedroom.

Residents are being urged to leave the lights on at night and call police if any suspicious activity is witnessed.
