Water main break snarls traffic in Wayne

WAYNE - A water main break in Wayne has left several homes without water as crews work to repair the line.

The 12-inch main ruptured around 1 a.m. this morning on Ratzer Road near Webster Drive. Authorities say 15 homes are without water as a result of the break.

Crews were forced to shut down the road while they made repairs to the line. Commuters headed toward Route 23 along Ratzer Road were forced to take a detour.

Officials say they are making progress to fix the problem.
