NORTH BRUNSWICK - A massive water main break on Ryders Lane shut down roads in the area.

Police were diverting traffic away from the area near the intersection of Route 1.

The affected pipe is a 30-inch main, and the primary water feed into East Brunswick.

Several lanes remained closed during the repairs, but the roads have reopened.

Emergency water tanks are in use and authorities say no one is without water, but they are asking residents to conserve water and boil it before use.
