BASKING RIDGE - American Water is reporting a water main break in Basking Ridge this morning.

They say the break happened on Valley and Mount Airy roads. It is unknown how long the repairs will take.

The company says customers should have water service but can expect low pressure.

American Water has several thousand customers in Bernards Township and Basking Ridge. They also serve the VA Hospital, but the hospital has a backup system and is not impacted by the break.
