BELLEVILLE - A water main break early this morning in Belleville is causing some service issues to nearby towns.

A boil water advisory is in effect for Belleville, North Arlington and Lyndhurst due to a water main break in Belleville. The Passaic Valley Water Commission (PVWC) says customers in those areas may experience low water pressure and discolored water as a result of the break, according to the utility's website.

The break happened this morning on the Route 21 northbound ramp to Belleville Turnpike (Route 7) in Belleville.
