Warehouse burns in downtown Camden in 8-alarm fire

CAMDEN - (AP) - A huge fire has engulfed a three-story warehouse in downtown Camden this morning.

The Camden County Fire dispatch office says about 20 firecompanies were fighting the eight-alarm blaze. The office saysthere have been no reports of any injuries.

Firefighters took the call on the fire at 2:24 a.m. The building takes up a large part of a block on Winslow Street.

WPVI reports that the fire was brought under control at about 6a.m.

The fire comes just two days after a major fire in Camden thatleveled an abandoned tire business and most of the two surroundingcity blocks.
