WALL TOWNSHIP - Wall Township schools are set to reopen Tuesday after students got an extended winter break Monday due to what district officials called "remaining snow conditions" at some of the schools. An unsigned letter on the district's website blamed roof problems at the high school, as well as unplowed walkways and driveways at other schools for the closure. The letter also said buses would have difficulty navigating certain roads and intersections in the township, which were still in need of being cleaned.
A huge mound of snow caused limited visibility Monday for drivers pulling out of Central Elementary School. Sidewalks were also still covered in snow at the high school, making it difficult for walkers.
