WALL TOWNSHIP - Police in Wall Township have released surveillance photos in hopes of identifying those responsible for a series of purse snatchings at two grocery stores.

Police say the incidents happened at the ShopRite supermarket on Route 34 and at the A&P on Route 35. Authorities say two blondes and possibly a third woman are persons of interest in the case.

All of the thefts involved purses that were left unattended in shopping carts by elderly shoppers.
