WALL TOWNSHIP - Concerned parents filled the gym at Wall High School last night to discuss security after recently finding out about a violent plot to harm students.

The plot, allegedly by a former student, was first revealed in April, when district officials found a note with general threats. Officials have since discovered the plan named 40 students and some celebrities as possible targets.

The school says it will place guards inside the schools as just one of the safety precautions in response to the threat.

"The lobby guards will be posted in the lobby, they are not to move from their posts and when they do they will be covered by other lobby guards," says interim Superintendent of Schools Stephanie Bilenker. The guards will also have radios that will connect directly with police.

There will also be machines in place to help identify people who are permitted inside.
