Volunteers in Wayne make sure families have hot meals

WAYNE - Platters of donated food are being divided up into hundreds of hot meals in Wayne. At the Preakness Reformed Church of Wayne, plates are made up with assembly-line efficiency.

Organizer Karyn Ratcliffe tells News 12 New Jersey that they are just trying to provide hot meals to people who have lost everything.

Most of the meals are delivered door to door in neighborhoods still reeling from the flood.

If you can donate your time and energy to the group, visit their Facebook page for more information.
