HIGHLAND PARK - As chilling details continue to emerge about the Connecticut school shooting that claimed the lives of 20 children – all ages 6 and 7 – people across New Jersey are honoring the victims tonight with candlelight vigils.

In Highland Park, people are gathering to remember the brave women and innocent children who were gunned down in the horrific massacre.

Visitors are holding white candles to honor the memory of the 20 children and six educators whose lives were lost.

Similar vigils are being held in Fort Lee and Ridgewood, as well as many other towns across the state.
