Video voyeur arrested in Passaic County

WAYNE - Police say they have arrested a man for allegedly hiding a small camera in two public restrooms and a gym locker room.

According to officials, 34-year-old Leonardo Zoppa hid a camera the size of a Pez dispenser in a restroom at St. Joseph's Wayne Hospital where he works as a pharmacy manager. They say at least one man was recorded using the facilities.

Investigators say he also admitted to installing a camera in the men's room at a Clifton Barnes & Noble and in the men's locker room at a gym in Fairfield.

Detective Captain James Clarke says Zoppa was confronted by a security director after a hospital maintenance worker found the micro-cam Tuesday.

Police say Zoppa is facing one count of invasion of privacy, but if more videos are found, there will be more charges.
