VIDEO: Cop rescues deer from fence in Park Ridge (3/9/15)

PARK RIDGE - A police officer in Park Ridge made a great rescue on Monday.

Officials say Officer Scott Malloy helped a deer that was caught between a fence and a tree near a home on Wortendyke Road. 

Video shows Officer Malloy lifting the deer’s rear legs and pushing it free from the fence. It appears the deer was uninjured.
