MIDDLETOWN - Customers who have used UPS to ship a package recently may have had their security information compromised.

Stores in Middletown, Lopatcong and Cherry Hill are part of a customer credit and debit card data breach. UPS says 51 stores in 24 states were affected.

The company says it's not certain if the data was used, but they want customers to be aware.

The data from up to 100,000 transactions from January to April may have been compromised.

UPS is providing identity protection and credit monitoring to affected customers.
