UNION BEACH - Thousands of dollars worth of donated building supplies were unloaded in Union Beach today. The supplies will help rebuilding efforts in the Sandy-ravaged town.

Students from Madison Junior School were on hand to form an assembly line to gather, stack and store the supplies.

The four trucks full of insulation, plywood, lumber and more were all paid for by Investor’s Bank.

The bank has donated $15,000 worth of supplies.

Many houses in Union Beach were destroyed down to the foundation by Sandy, and 90 percent of the homes suffered extensive water damage.
