NEWARK - Workers at a Newark trucking yard are convinced that they saw a meteor shower raining down on their lot.

In surveillance video, mysterious flashes of light are seen falling from the sky, hitting two of the trucks parked in the lot. Moments later, the trucks burst into flames.

Fire officials originally said this was a case of arson, but are now reconsidering their decision.

The possibility of this being a meteor shower isn't that far off. The American Meteor Society says shower activity happened Sept. 4 through Sept. 12 with maximum activity on the 9th. That's the same day this video was taken.
