TRENTON - Trenton Water Works has fully lifted the boil water advisory for all of its customers.

The company notified residents in Trenton, Ewing, Lawrence and parts of Hopewell on Monday about the water problems, which started with a treatment plant shutdown. But, the water works failed to alert the suburbs immediately when the dirty water started coming through the taps.

The advisory has been lifted in all affected towns, and officials held a meeting yesterday to figure out ways to better alert the public in such emergencies.
