TRENTON - The 12-year-old boy who was reported missing in Trenton has been found safe.

Edward Goodridge was found by a passerby on the Lincoln Avenue Bridge at around 10:30 a.m. Saturday. He was reportedly soaking wet from walking in the rain.

Police say Goodridge never returned home from Hedgepeth-Williams School Friday, and was last seen near Hamilton and Ardmore avenues. They say he was likely roaming the streets of Trenton the whole time.

Detectives say they provided the boy with warm clothes and a fresh meal after bringing him to police headquarters.
