TRENTON - Trenton Mayor Tony Mack is warning that there is almost no hope of avoiding the layoffs of more than 100 police officers. The scheduled layoffs will affect 108 officers, a third of the force. Trenton is cutting millions in spending after losing half of its aid for being a distressed city.
