Residents will decide who will replace former mayor Tony Mack

TRENTON - Voters will need to choose between Eric Jackson and Paul Perez in a runoff election to decide who will lead New Jersey's capital city.

Six candidates were vying to replace Tony Mack, who was convicted on federal corruption charges in February and is due to be sentenced this week.

Mack was found guilty on federal charges of bribery, fraud, extortion and money laundering. Mack refused to leave his office willingly, forcing New Jersey Superior Court Judge Mary Jacobson to remove him.
