TRENTON - Trenton Mayor Tony Mack has designated city Business Administrator Sam Hutchinson as acting mayor during the time that he is "unavailable."
Officials say it is standard procedure for the mayor to appoint someone to act in his place when he goes on vacation, which he was scheduled to start today.
Trenton city officials though, say they don't know where Mack is, not since his home was raided by the FBI on Wednesday and Trenton City Hall yesterday.
Mack has not been charged with any crime.
A civic watchdog says the business administrator can act as mayor for 60 days before the position is considered vacated.
