EDISON - As harsh winter weather has bled into March, many New Jersey residents are looking for a way to escape winter’s grasp.

Hundreds attended the annual travel expo in Edison Sunday to book a getaway on the spot.

Travel agents say they have seen a steady rise in residents booking vacations to gentler climates.
