Traffic moving again for Lincoln Tunnel drivers

Traffic is moving again for motorists going in and out of New York City after two accidents caused major delays at the Lincoln Tunnel earlier.

WEEHAWKEN - Traffic is moving again for motorists going in and out of New York City after two accidents caused major delays at the Lincoln Tunnel earlier.

The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey says five people were injured in an eight-vehicle crash at about 12:30 p.m.

Authorities closed the outbound north tube and diverted outbound traffic to the center tube in response to the crash.

About two hours earlier, roughly 20 people were injured in an accident involving two buses.

Motorists were experiencing delays of at least an hour earlier this evening.
