Towns impose Halloween curfews amid luring reports

NEW MILFORD - Several New Jersey towns are imposing Halloween curfews in light of several attempted child abductions.

New Milford and Dumont have announced that trick-or-treating has to be wrapped up by 8 p.m. on Halloween, as well as the night before, which is known as "Mischief Night."

Oradell is imposing a 9 p.m. curfew, while Franklin Lakes is imposing a curfew of 10 p.m.

The curfews come after more than a dozen attempted child lurings in northern New Jersey.

Police have released four sketches, but so far, no arrests have been made.
