CHATHAM - Trick-or-treating was held in at least seven communities in New Jersey tonight, after Halloween celebrations were postponed last week.

On Oct. 31, many towns deemed trick-or-treating too dangerous as wires and trees laid in the street following last weekend's snowstorm.

Tonight, children went door-to-door in Chatham, and many residents said they were happy the children in town got to celebrate on a safer day.

While Nov. 4 may seem like an odd day for trick-or-treating, it also marks National Candy Day.
