Totoya recalls 2.5M U.S. cars over window switch

EDISON - Toyota today recalled more than 7 million vehicles, 2.5 million of which are here in the U.S. Officials with Toyota says the master power window switch wasn't properly lubricated at factories, raising the risk of a fire. Mechanics say the fix is an easy one and should be free at Toyota dealerships. Toyota says it will send letters this month to anyone who owns one of the affected cars. Customers can make an appointment at their dealership to get the problem fixed, which should take less than one hour.
