Strong storms ripped through parts of New Jersey, causing roadways to flood.

EDISON - Strong storms ripped through parts of New Jersey, causing roadways to flood.

Flooding in Middlesex County caused problems for drivers. There were also reports of hail in some areas. At one point, the National Weather Service issued a tornado warning for central Burlington County, but it was eventually lifted.

Flash flood warnings remain in effect for other parts of the state. Rain is expected to continue into Tuesday.
